Mystery Hillbillies Labor Day weekend at Thirsty Skull

Event Details

The Mystery Hillbillies will make our debut at Thirsty Skull Brewing Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. We will be bringing the vintage country, rockabilly, boogie, and blues to the grassy, shady courtyard of Thirsty Skull Saturday afternoon from 4-7 pm. It’s right at the western edge of downtown Pittsboro, close to the intersection of West Street (business 64) and Hwy 87.

Tad Walters and Calvin Johnson will be joining yours truly, Fearless Leader, Michelle Belanger, for a fun afternoon of music, beer, and picnics. The address is 684 West Street, Pittsboro 27312

This is an outdoor show with no indoor backup. If we need to cancel I will put a message about it on the fb event page.

The building is a historic 1951 mid-century modern Lustron home! Lustron houses are prefabricated enameled steel houses developed in the post-World War II era United States in response to the shortage of homes for returning G.I.s by Chicago industrialist and inventor Carl Strandlund. Considered low-maintenance and extremely durable, they were expected to attract modern families who might not have the time or interest in repairing and painting conventional wood and plaster houses.
